Microsoft Windows 11

Hi, My HP laptop is in a very good condition but the battery let me down, have to plug in to use. Can I replace it myself?  It is an HP Pavilion -15-cs1xxx laptop, Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-8265U.

Warranty is a grey/gray area, very hard to say in concrete. For new generation machines, adding something or fixing something is a work for Authorized Service Provider parts .

However you can add yourself. If something went wrong due to this upgrade, I think HP would not honor warranty.

Hope this makes sense.

Note: Your machine requires a Service Provider as mentioned on page 37 of the manual.

Regards.
