Hello,
Recently I've changed the battery of a HP Elitebook I've recovered from someone that wasn't using it.
The old battery was bloated, and the laptop wasn't working when not plugged in, so I am sure it was defective.
I've changed the battery by using one I've brought, both were the same model (the stickers both said CS03XL).
However, it appears the laptop runs out of power when the battery level indicates 27%, not 0%. This number is consistent, and is given by Ubuntu.
Is there a way to reset the battery estimation, and is it something hardware or software related ?
I've been trying to find a battery test tool like HP has one for RAM and disk, but there's nothing of the sort in the advance boot options.
Thanks for your answers
