Hello,
my laptop shuts down if I unplug it, but the battery shows 87% charge. It’s a 2016 model. Is the battery dead? any thoughts?

Post the advanced results here. After 4.5 or 5 years, yes odds are you need a new battery. The Model designaiton you give is not familiar so find it this way:
