Hello,
while using my notebook today, I noticed that my battery got low and tried charging it with the power adapter (that was delivered with the notebook) but nothing happened. The charging LED doesnt light up and the HP Diagnostic Tool doesnt recognize the power adapter when putting it in. I tried the adapter on other devices and it works just fine so and also tried another (working) adapter which also doesnt do anything for my notebook which means that its not an issue with the adapter.
The weird part is, that my remaining battery display just stayed constant at 31% for the last 2 hours. Running the battery test in the HP Diagnostic Tool gets me the message that the charging status is not found. The BIOS System Firmware and all other software seems to be up-to-date and the notebook is working properly as of now, but I assume that it will just shut down soon and then I dont know what to do with it anymore.
Does anyone have an idea what the issue might be? It does feel like some software issue but I dont know how to fix it. I already did a hard reset (with the battery still in place) which didnt do anything.
I am very thankful for any help or advice.

Seems like the problem solved itself. My notebook just shut down because the battery apperantly hit 0 and immediately afterwards the charging LED lit up again and everything seems to be working fine.
