My Omens battery died a few months ago (it was completely bloated after about 3 years) and now i bought a new one. The Battery Check confirmed that the battery is fine and brand new.
But i have a problem with chargning it.
After i plug it it to charge it it charges for only about 1-2 minutes and then the light turns white (from red) and it just keeps blinking. There is a message on the battery icon stating "plugged in" and it's all. Here's what i did:
-replaced a battery
-uninstalled ACPI drivers and installed them again
-updated BIOS
The one thing that seemed to solve the issue was this fix:
- Power off the laptop.
- Disconnected AC adapter from the laptop.
- Press and hold the power button for 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the battery and plug the AC adapter.
- Power ON the laptop.
Buuut - here an interesting part. My laptop charged for only 1-2 minutes after i plugged in the AC adapter. After this time it started, again, blinking with the white light and the charging process stopped.
What should i do to fix it?

There is not much you can do to "fix" a battery but it first needs to be fully diagnosed to the extent possible. Have you run the battery diagnostic on it either from HP Support Assistant or in the pre-boot UEFI environment? Do that and post a screenshot of all the test results, please.

There is some error when running the pre-boot UEFI environment scan.

This is really weird that it states that i must replace my battery since i got it just 2 days ago and i already replaced it one time. And its only on its 6 cycle - HP battery check confirms that its okay.
