Hi,

My notebook HP Omen is 3 years old (and out of warranty) and today when i plugged in the charger it turned out that the battery is stuck at 0%. Ive run the diagnostic and this is what turned out:

Is there something i can do to make it work or do i need to buy a new one? Also - i wonder whether is there some issue with my laptop and the new battery will also be killed by it.

As to first question yes -- you would need to replace the battery.  Three years is short but it's  not unlikely if the battery gets used a lot and recharged often.

 

As to the second, there is no way to test that without a working battery.  But once you have one, you can try these trouble shooting steps from HP:
