Hi @SHARANABASAPPA1,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop's battery!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
1. Update BIOS
- Navigate to the HP Support site.
- Enter your serial number or product name (HP Pavilion Plus 14 inch Laptop PC 14-eh1000) and click Submit.
- Click "Software, Drivers, and Firmware".
- Select your Operating System and version then click Submit.
- Expand the "BIOS" section by clicking the Plus (+) sign.
- Select the appropriate (or latest) BIOS System Firmware version.
- Click the "Download" button to the right.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to download and install the BIOS update.
2. Update Windows
- Press Win + I to open Settings.
- Go to "Update & Security".
- Click on "Windows Update" and then "Check for updates".
- Install any available updates.
3. Update Device Drivers
- Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
- In Device Manager, locate the device with the yellow exclamation mark.
- Right-click the device, and select "Update driver".
- Choose "Search automatically for updated driver software".
4. Reinstall Device Drivers
- Press Win + X and select Device Manager.
- In Device Manager, locate and right-click the device with the error.
- Select "Uninstall device" and confirm.
- Restart your computer. Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver automatically.
5. Reset BIOS to Default Settings
- Restart your computer.
- During the boot process, repeatedly press F10 to enter the BIOS setup.
- Navigate to the Exit or Save & Exit tab.
- Select "Load Setup Defaults" (or a similar option) and confirm.
- Save the changes and exit the BIOS.
I hope this helps.
