I'm having an issue where the battery is swelling in the laptop and causing the back cover of the laptop to push out. I need a new battery and back cover with a screw set for my laptop. How can I resolve this issue?

Sorry to hear that you are having problems ... I would like to help you.

 

Pay attention, defective battery is dangerous !

Your apartment/house could be destroyed by a battery fire.

 

In your case: Service is required !
- The computer should be disassembled and checked.
- Thermal paste for CPU GPU and bridges should be renewed
- The function of the fan(s) must be checked

- Battery must be replaced !

- General cleaning ...

 

Replace battery and you are safe !

 

HP warranty valid -> Contact HP Support

 

HP warranty expired:

If you can't do that, you should have it serviced by a professional notebook (chip level) repair store.
