Hello. My HP laptop - 15-bs169ur. The battery is dead. I bought a new battery. Old 10.95 volt battery. 3 cells. I bought a four cell battery, but 14.8 volts. Can I use a 14.8 volt battery in this laptop? Thank you!

Hi,

I believe that both the batteries are compatible as they are both listed as compatible in the service manual (page 21)

Hope it helps,

David

Old battery: JC03 10,95V/31,2Wh  New battery: JC04 14,8V/47Wh   The service engineer of the HP service center in my city said that they are compatible, you can use. I want to know if this is so?
