HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 15m-ed1023dx

I purchased an HP ENVY x360 m Convertible  in February of 2021. I only used it a few times, maybe just the setup, and placed it back in the box. I took the computer out recently and the computer will not charge and I cannot setup the computer. Do you think this is a problem with the internal battery? If so, which battery do I purchase and from where?

Yes.

That is a problem with the main battery.

 

You will need to replace it with a new one

Battery (3 cell, 51 WHr, 4.45 AHr, Li-ion; includes cable) L77034-005

 

Only use genuine HP batteries that have the HP part number and the HP logo on them.

Non-genuine (generic), ( i.e HT03XL) batteries are known to sometimes not work as expected because of their non standard programming of the internal BMS (battery management system) chip. If you read through threads in the forum related to problems after battery replacement you will see many members who have used generic batteries complaining that they are not working as expected.
