I also have this problem and tried the suggestions. My battery will not charge over 56%. I understand I can not calibrate unless it is fully charged, is that correct?

I have the  HP Notebook - 15-af131dx  Product number P1A95UA#ABA. Battery will not charge past around 56%. I also have to take it out and put it back in to get it to charge most of the time. The battery test says it is fine but needs calibration. Do I understand I cannot calibrate unless it is at 100%?
