Okay so my battery would not charge above 70%. And the computer will only stay on when the charger is plugged into it. As soon as i unplug the charger the computer shuts off. I then went on to buy a new battery but it still has the same problem. Only difference is that it now only stays at 59% and when i click on the battery icon on the bottom of the screen there is a note saying "not charging". I ran a battery test and the results are in the pictures below but i dont know how to read it. Screenshot_20190422-114232_Gallery.jpg

Hi!, @RLozano :

  1. Turn off the computer.
  2. Take out the power cord and the battery.
  3. Hold the power button for like 10 seconds to release the charge.
  4. Plug the battery and power cord back in.
  5. Turn the computer on.
  6. It should be able to charge now.

Maké, following your step by step instructions did not work. My laptop still is not charging and my laptop shuts off when i unplug the power chord.
