There is more to it than time and cycles. Are you still under warranty? If not, not much point in contacting HP Warranty Support unless you want to try and convince them to replace it out of warranty? It has been just about a year and a half which is short, but not unheard of. However you proceed, the battery needs replacement.

The warranty type we have had some trouble getting a straight answer. Some say type 3 means 3 years but it appears in laptops known to have a 1 year warranty so that does not seem right. The rest of the information is pretty self-explanatory. The information shows the date your battery was manufactured. How many times it has been discharged and charged back up (cycles), the original charge capacity and what is left in each cell. Your battery is pretty run down and needs replacement.

Sir, thaks for your valuable reply, I purchase my laptop in Nov. 2016 and as you can see in HP battery check report cycle count is only 46 out of 1000. The battery can get faulty in such a small duration....
It has also mention failure id do I need to contact HP service centre.

Yes some HP batteries will work in more than one model. Not sure how that is relevant. Batteries are consumable and inherently unpredictable. I have had a battery fail in a year and I have a couple vintage laptops with 10-15 year old batteries that still hold a charge.

Surprisingly, my battery on HP pavillion 15 also broken at almost the same time. My notebook is not yet reach one year and have never been use in the heavy load... just browse and play stream. Fortunately, it still under warrant, but at the same time I feel like why HP notebook is so weak...it breaks within less than one year...
