Hi @Dragonborn77,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

How to calibrate a laptop battery.

  • Charge your battery fully: Connect your laptop to a power source and charge the battery fully. It's best to leave the laptop connected to the power source for an additional two hours after the battery is fully charged to ensure that it's completely charged.
  • Use your laptop on battery power: Disconnect your laptop from the power source and use it on battery power until it runs out of charge and shuts down. You may want to save any unsaved work or data before this step.
  • Let the laptop rest: Leave the laptop turned off and unplugged for at least five hours. This will allow the battery to cool down and reset.
  • Charge the battery again: Plug in your laptop and charge the battery fully again.

By following these steps, you should be able to calibrate your HP Notebook - 15 battery. Keep in mind that you may need to repeat this process a few times to get the best results

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.
