HP Spectre x360 - 13t-ae000 CTO

The battery often has to drain entirely for it to charge. HP support community has suggested to run the HP PC Hardware Diagnosctics UEFI utility and run a test on the laptop's battery which I did and sent the results to the email that came in.

Then was suggested that I invoke the Battery-report which I did last week and have that report and also sent to the email that suggested it and have not heard from the community. .

Help!

Battery should last about 5 years but less for gaming systems. Have you done a battery calibration?

Try that calibration and see if it helps.

I looked at the various BIOS updates for your laptop. There are a lot but none of the release information mentioned fixing a battery problem.

I assume when you ran diagnostics that everything passed.

Good news,

Suggesting the battery calibration seems to have worked.

Thanks
