Does anyone know where i can get a genuine laptop battery for my HP 15-BW0XX Laptop

Your HP 15-BW0XX laptop, according to: http://h10032.www1.hp.com/ctg/Manual/c05493256.pdf, requires either a 3-cell battery with HP p/n: 919700-850 ("3-cell, 31-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion battery, JC03"), or a 4-cell battery with HP p/n: 919701-850 ("4-cell, 41-Whr, 2.8-Ah Li-ion battery, JC04").

You should be able to purchase a quality "JC04" replacement battery online in Kenya, and it should be similar to this US purchase example: https://www.amazon.com/Replacement-17-bs067cl-17-bs049dx-17-bs011dx-15-bs015dx/dp/B081GHTVQ6/ref=sr_....

Hello. Thank you for your reply. Upon investigation of my laptop, i have to discovered that my laptop has two different serial no.s. The one written on the back of it is quite different from the one the system displays. Is that a coomon occurence ?

Please don't share any of the serial numbers, but what system display serial number are you referring to, and where/when do you see it?

Well sorry, I shouldn't have asked. I figured out the problem. I replaced the laptop casing a while ago and totally forgot about it and that's why it has a different serial number on the back of it. The serial number that I'm referring to, that is being displayed by the system, is the original one. You can get it through command prompt. That's where I got it from.
