This was rare but over time, the beep sound occurs when I press the Windows key—also the Windows key works after pressing three times.
Sometimes, all the keys work oddly. Such as Scrolling down using a keypad begins to move the screen from left to right.
My Laptop is also not old. It's new. If you give me a solution it will help me a lot. Because sometimes it is disaster to work on the laptop.

Hi @Saad220,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
The issues you're experiencing with your HP Laptop PC 14-D2000 (2D127AV) could be due to several factors, ranging from hardware malfunctions to software or driver conflicts. Here are several steps you can try to diagnose and possibly fix the problem:
1. Perform a Hardware Diagnostic
- HP provides a hardware diagnostic tool which can be accessed by pressing F2 when your computer starts. This tool can check if there's a hardware issue with your keyboard or other components.
2. Check for Sticky Keys
- The Windows operating system has an accessibility feature known as "Sticky Keys" that can cause the behavior you're experiencing. You can turn this feature off in the Ease of Access settings in the Control Panel or Settings app.
3. Update or Reinstall Keyboard Drivers
- Outdated or corrupt drivers can cause the keyboard to malfunction. Go to Device Manager, find the keyboard, right-click and select "Update driver". If that doesn’t help, you can try uninstalling the keyboard driver, and then restart your laptop. Windows will automatically reinstall the driver on boot.
4. Check for Windows Updates
- Sometimes, these issues can be resolved with a Windows update. Make sure your system is up-to-date by checking the Updates section in the Settings app.
5. External Keyboard Test
- Try using an external keyboard. If the external keyboard works fine, the issue is likely with the laptop’s built-in keyboard.
6. Disable Filter Keys
- Similar to Sticky Keys, Filter Keys is another accessibility feature that could interfere with normal keyboard functions. You can disable it in the Ease of Access settings.
7. Check for Malware
- Sometimes, malware can interfere with keyboard inputs. Run a full system scan with your antivirus software to make sure your system is clean.
8. Restore System
- If the issue started recently, restoring your system to a previous state when everything was working fine might help. You can do this through the System Restore feature in Windows.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
