What is the best "Fastest" 4TB SSD upgrade for the HP Zbook Power G10 15.6 (Core i7). 

Maybe something that isn't on the compatible lists? Thanks

Chapter 1 of the service manual indicates that PCIe 4x4 NVMe SSD's up to 4 TB were offered in the model series.

So, the WD_BLACK SN850X 4TB M.2 2280 Game Drive PCIe Gen4 NVMe should work fine.

 

I don't know of any HP notebook on the market today that will run a PCIe Gen 5.0 SSD at its maximum advertised read/write speeds.

Any brand NVMe 4 x 4 SSD should work.

 

I looked up Crucial, but they only supply a 2 TB model in that speed range.

The Samsung 990 drives are good but are pretty costly:
