CPU is just starting to feel slow, I am now just wondering what the best CPU is compatible with this model. I am using Windows 10 pro as well.

Thank you for the confirmation of your laptop specs.
It is possible to upgrade your HP Pavilion g7-1355dx with an AMD A8-3520M (1.60 - 2.50 GHz, 4-Cores, 4-Threads), which has better integrated AMD Radeon HD 6620G graphics, and you could purchase this CPU via eBay: AMD A8-3520M for sale | eBay.
Along with the aforementioned CPU, another upgrade would involve your system board, the best being the HP p/n: 649950-001 (649950-601) system board: "For use only with computer models equipped with the AMD A60M chipset and a graphics subsystem with 1024 MB of discrete video memory, supports BACO". You can purchase this board via eBay, such as this purchase example: https://www.ebay.com/itm/333960870593?hash=item4dc19e7ac1%3Ag%3AphcAAOSwE%7ExgeBci&amdata=enc%3AAQAH....
You would have to determine if this expense is worth it, of course, or is already installed in your laptop.
If you go with this upgraded system board & AMD CPU, then you'll likely have to upgrade your CPU heatsink with HP p/n: 649953-001 "For use only with computer models equipped with the AMD A60M chipset and a graphics subsystem with discrete video memory". This could be purchased online as well, such as this example: https://notebookparts.com/hp-pavilion-g7-g7-1237dx-heatsink-dsc-a60m-649953-001/.
However, in my opinion, the cost/hassle/relative minor performance increase of these upgrades would not justify going this route. Your laptop is 8+ years old, and if you are looking for better (laptop) performance, you should seriously consider retiring this laptop and consider purchasing a new(er), higher performing laptop.
