Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My 6560B was upgraded to Win 10 when it first came out. It has the scanner for finger print but the Win 10 Pro upgrade seems to have lost the biometrics in the device manager. Need to reload the drivers but can't seem to find HP's. Found Synaptics but ....Hp doesn't do them anymore. WHERE CAN I FIND THE CORRECT DRIVERS FOR THE FINGER PRINT SENSOR!!!!

Hi:

Here is the link to the fingerprint sensor driver you need.

https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp58501-59000/sp58900.exe

You may have to manually install the driver if it doesn't automatically install the driver for the fingerprint scanner.

If the fingerprint scanner needs a driver, there will be an Unknown device in the device manager with a hardware ID that looks like this...USB\VID_138A&PID

Click on that device.  Click on the driver tab.   Click on Update driver.

Select the Browse my computer for driver software option and browse to the driver folder that was created when you ran the file.

That folder will be located in C:\SWSetup\sp58900.

Make sure the Include Subfolders box is checked and the driver should install.
