I bought ProBook 450 G7 a week ago. After Windows 10 Pro was installed (Windows is up-to-date and activated), I found out that ther's no Biometrics tab in Device Manager. I've tried intalling proper driver for my notebook fingerprint scanner but it hasn't worked. Also, I've tried some other options like enabling biometrics option but it hasn't worked again. Ther's no visible scanner in hidden devices too. When I've tried using Windows Hello it said 'We couldn't find a fingerprint scanner compatible with Wndows Hello Fingerprint'. HP PC Hardware Diagnostic Windows doesn't have listed fingerprint scanner in Component Test tab. Reinstalling driver hasn't helped also. Basically, I've tried a lot of things but with no success. Other hardware devices work properly and I don't have any other problem with notebook at all.
I would appreciate any response, thanks!

Does the computer have a fingerprint reader?
The feature is available on the series.
If no fingerprint reader on the computer, the little box has only a "cover".

Has the fingerprint sensor ever worked?
All the following assumes that at some point, you have been able to use the fingerprint sensor.
The following also assumes you are not using Power On Password control.
Why?
I do not want to be involved, present, or anywhere close by should you accidentally lock up your system.
Why?
We cannot - Not - provide any support to breach computer security.
Overly paranoid? Yes.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Will any of this help?
Unknown - it is worrisome that the Device Manager does not detect the fingerprint reader.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Default in the BIOS is the fingerprint device is enabled.
It is possible (?) that something has happened to change that setting.
Make sure the fingerprint device is enabled in the BIOS.
Open / Start BIOS > Advanced > Built-in Device Options Menu
Check / Verify the Fingerprint Device is enabled
If changes are made, Save before exiting.
Boot and log in
