Hi @CihanWinchestr,

Welcome to HP Support Community.

Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.

It sounds like you're experiencing issues with the BIOS on your HP Victus 15 Rx6500m series laptop, specifically regarding temperature rise after updating to F20 BIOS. Let's break down the situation and address your concerns.

Bios Version F20 and Temperature Issue:

  • After updating to BIOS version F20, you noticed that your computer's temperature started rising. This could indicate that there might be a bug or an issue with how the BIOS is managing hardware components such as the CPU and GPU.

Downgrading BIOS to F19:

  • You tried to resolve the temperature issue by downgrading to BIOS version F19 using the Windows Start button + B method. However, you mentioned that the system automatically updated back to F21 after you downgraded to F19.

Automatic BIOS Update to F21:

  • It seems that your laptop automatically updated to BIOS version F21 even after you downgraded to F19. This could be due to automatic updates being enabled in your BIOS settings or possibly due to a feature in the BIOS itself that checks for and applies updates automatically.

Check BIOS Settings:

  • Access your BIOS settings (usually by pressing a specific key during startup like F10 or Esc) and ensure that automatic updates are disabled if you want to manually control BIOS versions.

Temperature Monitoring:

  • Use software tools like HWMonitor or Open Hardware Monitor to monitor your CPU and GPU temperatures. This will help you verify if BIOS version F21 has indeed resolved the temperature issue compared to F20.

I hope this helps.

Take care and have a good day.

Thanks for try help Alden4,

I late for reply so sorry. Now returning subject. Bios F21 came HP websites. Did nt left any wonder about wrong bios update. But high temperature problem is continues. still 95-100 degrees cpu and gpu hotpoint 100 degrees around, gpu temp is 70-80 around . So when I open computer for play game, twice time I thinking.

I cant do anything about high temperature problem . HP should solve this problem with bios update and other updates. I research about this so many things. So many person living this problem so many forum subject and same model. Now I think thats problem is chronical. High temperature, low fps, optimisation problem and so many stuttering problem.

I find some solution about this subject for research,

I think some bios setting should be changeable,

etc. Amd SMT setting (this solving high temp and stuttering(ms latency)), Amd Smartshift setting (solving TDP problem (variable TDP) ), Amd SAM technologhy(This computer not supporting Gen4 PCI), TDP limit,

OMEN GAMİNG HUB is big problem for this model because when I remove this app, solved so many stutter problem.
