Hello
I have bought a used HP Probook (not new one) having on its body the name 645 G2. However, when checking the system information, it shows HP Probook 640 G3. I think that this is because the wrong BIOS has been installed. Moreover, the laptop is not detecting the headphone when inserted. When I hover the mouce pointer on the speaker icon, it displays that headphone is connected with the level of the sound, but the headphone is not connected yet (in normal case it shows headphone), and when I insert the headphone it shows that speakers are detected/connected with the headphone not connected/available.
To solve this issue, I tried to install the sound driver of the right laptop 645 G2, but it comes with failure saying that the hardware is not detected. Now I want to install the right BIOS for this laptop but I am afraid a little bit since this BIOS is available for N77 BIOS ROM family (which is the family of ROM in Probook 645 G2) and the current BIOS family shown by the system is 82AA as I think (System Board: 82AA KBC Version 49.51 | System BIOS: P83 Ver. 01.37).
Please, could you tell me what I can do for this problem?
