Bios Update HP Pavilion dv9000 [AMD]

Hi,

I would like to update the BIOS of on an old Pavilion dv9000 laptop (windows 7 - 32bits). Unfortunately, the support page for this model doesn't exist anymore. Could you help me to download the good file ?

Hi:

Unfortunately, you won't be able to update the BIOS since you are running W7.

Anyone that has tried to update the BIOS in a dv9000 notebook that has an AMD processor in Windows 7 has destroyed the notebook.  100% BIOS update failure.

You can only update the BIOS in Windows XP or Windows Vista.

If you can install one of those operating systems, this was the last BIOS update HP released for your notebook.

I'll try to install one of those OS before updating the firmware.

After installing Windows Vista OS, the BIOS update went fine.
