Hello,

i was updating my Bios using HP Support Assistant and right now it's asking for password.

I didn't put in any password.

please can anyone help me on how to remove the password ?

so i can continue with the Bios upgrade.

You say you didn't put in a password but maybe someone else did (like your IT department). That is a business model laptop.

 

Did you try just pressing 'ENTER' when asked for a password?

Has it always been your computer or did you buy it used from someone else?
