Hello, an optional Firmware 15.39.0.0 update came through the Windows Update --- this is a BIOS update, but it is not installed, (after installation it always asks to restart the system, but it still does not install) there is no this update on the page of my laptop, there is only Firmware 15.38.0.0, Why do I need a non-working BIOS driver    HP.Inc.---- Firmware 15.39.0.0?

No one knows what update is sent by Windows Update from HP ???

I see that you are facing issues with updating your OMEN Laptop - 15-dh1006ur.

 

Please run the updates from HP Support Assistant by following the steps listed below:
1. Download the current version from this Weblink
2. Click on Updates and Messages to scan for new updates.
3. Review the list of updates. Updates with a yellow information icon are recommended. Updates with a blue information icon are optional.
4. Click the update name for a description, version number, and file size.
5. Select the box next to any updates you want to install, and then click Download and install.
You may also refer to the HP document to download and use HP Support Assistant by visiting this Weblink.

No use from HP Support Assistant, does not find HP Inc. - Firmware - 15.39.0.0, Yes, I said this update is not on my product page!!!!! The question is where did Windows Update --- found an update for my Bios?????? if yes, it is not on the website of the laptop manufacturer !!!!!!??????????

and HP Inc. - Firmware - 15.39.0.0 after installation, it always asks to restart the laptop ------ is not installed !!!!

Hi @Bobik2,

The latest BIOS update is Version: F.38 Rev.A. Hence you may ignore the windows update alert.
