Dear HP Technical Support,
I am experiencing a firmware attestation issue while trying to play Call of Duty. The game's Secure Attestation Wizard reports that my PC does not meet BIOS security requirements and requires a BIOS firmware update.
However, I already have the latest BIOS version available on the HP support website.
My laptop specifications:
Model: HP Pavilion Gaming Laptop 15-ec1xxx
Product Number: 21B84EA#AKD
Motherboard: HP 87B2
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 4600H
Current BIOS: AMI F.35 Rev.A
BIOS Release Date: December 23, 2024
TPM Manufacturer: AMD
TPM Firmware Version: 3.92.0.5
TPM Specification Version: 2.0
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 22H2 (Build 19045)
Security status:
TPM 2.0: Passed
Secure Boot: Enabled – Passed
BIOS Attestation: Failed
The Call of Duty Secure Attestation Wizard specifically reports that a BIOS firmware update is required.
I have checked the HP support website using my exact product number. The only available BIOS version is F.35 Rev.A, which is already installed on my laptop. Is there any official workaround available for this problem?
I would appreciate it if this issue could be escalated to the BIOS/firmware engineering team, as the current firmware prevents me from passing the security attestation required by Call of Duty.
Thank you for your assistance.
Best regards
