Hi,
I have a minor problem about my notebook's body.
As you can see from the picture below, there is kinda black stain/black dots that I don't know how and why it occured
I've tried to remove it using notebook's cleaner kit but it didn't worked.
Do anyone have same problem like me or do anyone have any suggestion how to remove it?
Haha, it will much appreciated.
Thanks.
nb: I think it is not a scratch, because the surface does not feel rough.

Hi there, Mr.David (@DavidSMP)
I really appreciate your response.
I got the cleaner kit from the same store I bought my notebook, and they said that it is appropriate in cleaning notebook.
Haha.
Btw, it just my assumption that my notebook Envy 14 is similar to Apple MacBook (physically) <---"Warning: no reference"
So based on my assumption, I search and found this link--> https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3013653?tstart=0
"A tiny minority of people have body chemistry that attacks the highly corrosion-resistant anodized surface of Titanium Case" --> This sentence caught my attention. So Do HP sell palmguard that fit to Envy 14? Because I havent found it yet. Hehehe
Thank you.
Cheers.

Hi @mbrill,
Good Day. A warm welcome to the HP community. I reviewed the post regarding some stains on the notebook. I will be delighted to assist you here.
Splendid description and great observations made before posting. Kudos to you for that. 🙂
For providing you with an accurate response I would require more information regarding this.
- Did this happen when the notebook was placed on a different surface?
The only option is to try cleaning it with a different reliable and reputed Notebook cleaning agent.
Please check this link: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebook-Hardware-and-Upgrade-Questions/Black-Stain-Black-dots-on-note... for further assistance.
It clearly mentions not to use some cleaners.
Do not use any of the following chemicals or any solutions that contain them: Acetone, ethyl alcohol, toluene, ethyl acid, ammonia, or methyl chloride. If you have a different chemical or solution and are not sure whether it is suitable, do not use it.
Check on Amazon or Ebay or with a local store like Best Buy or Staples for a reliable cleaning kit that does not harm your notebook and then use that.
Hope this helps. Let me know how this goes. I genuinely hope the issue gets resolved without hassles and the unit works great.

Hi @mbrill,
