Hello,

i upgraded Ram on a zbook studio G10 laptop.

After that i see only blank screen and high fan speed. After 2 min it is shutdown completely.

I connected my ac adapter all the time. Now i could not recover this laptop at all. No Bios mode could also be entered. Any help would be highly appreciated

 @Sriniz

Did you upgrade the RAM by replacing both modules with guaranteed compatible memory or did you add a single module to what was already installed?

What are the specification of the memory that you used for the upgrade?

Have you removed the upgrade memory, installed the default memory and powered on the laptop to return the laptop to a working state?

Hi Erico,

Yes. I tried upgrading with 2 memories and are comptable afaik.

Since my laptop didnt boot up.. i tried to put back the original or deafult ones.  But the situation is same.

It turns ON with blank screen and loud fan but turns off after few minutes. I could not even enter bios

There are a few things to try.

Try to reset the EC (embedded controller) by  removing the power adapter  and  pressing and holding the power button from an off state for forty seconds and then releasing it.

You might also try recovering the BIOS by holding down the Windows key and the B key until the laptop responds with an onscreen message that says recovering the BIOS.
