HP Notebook -15-bs662tu
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi there,

I just recently noticed that when I connect my Charger to my laptop, instead of a constant red color ,it blinks red color rapidly and On my screen I notice Charger connected & Charger disconnected message rapidly..

I think that my Charger Adapter is wrong.

So, Please tell me how should I be able to buy a new genuine Charger Adapter ?

And please also tell me whether my laptop supports 4.5 mm or 7.4 mm Charger pin as it is helpful for me to decide which charger should I buy.

Additional details of my laptop :-

Hi @SANDYCURIOUSER

Welcome to the HP Support Community. I'd be happy to assist you with the AC Adapter issue.

I'd suggest you perform the AC Adapter test using these steps -

1) Shutdown the computer.
2) Turn the computer back on again and repeatedly tap on the ESC until a Startup menu appears.
3) Press F2 once.
4) Go to Component test.
5) From the list, run the AC Adapter test.

You need a HP 45W, 4.5mm AC Adapter. Part# 741553-850

Contact HP in your region regarding the replacement AC Adapter.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.
