Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knows how to get in touch with higher level HP support regarding this fuse issue.
I'm already ordering a replacement battery, since this one's a few years old already, but if there's any way I can identify the blown fuse and get a replacement, I'd like to keep this battery as a spare/backup in case the new battery has any future issues.

Also, after the test showed the battery fuse, I ran the full system test through the UEFI, and it's showing the charging port as bad. Is it possible that it shows as bad due to the battery? I'm seeing the LED indicators when it's plugged in, and I've tried multiple charging cables, but if the port really is bad I want to make sure before installing the new battery so I don't burn that out as well. In windows, the battery icon shows the charging indicator, and the status shows that it's plugged in but not charging, which is why I'm wondering if the battery failure could be the cause of the charging port test failing.

Didn't get an answer before the battery arrived, but I decided to risk it and swap that out. Now the charging port is showing as good, so if anyone else is having this issue but seeing the charging indicator LED (was showing orange when I first plugged it in, then switched to steady white blinks after it had been plugged in for a while), the faulty battery may be causing it.

I haven't tried the other power supply that was in use when the battery went bad yet, if that fries this battery I'll update this post.
