HP Laptop 15s-du0096TU 7NH51PA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Dear Team,

This is the second time I am posting the same issue. I am not being able to find my Bluetooth options anywhere. I have downloaded the updates but still not working. Even though my laptop supports Bluetooth whenever I run trouble shoot for my Bluetooth it says that "this device does not support bluetooth."

I have updated my bluetooth driver as well and it is still not working. When I go to the device manager, the bluetooth icon does not appear under the Network Adaptor. Can anyone please help me on this matter?

@SS90, Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Yes, according to the product specifications, this model computer is Bluetooth 4.2 compatible.

Install updates using HP Support Assistant

  1. In the search box, type and open HP Support Assistant.
  2. Check for updates.
  3. If the updates are available, click on install and restart the computer.

Note: If you do not have HP Support Assistant installed, Click here to download the same.

Perform the steps mentioned in this document - Troubleshooting a Bluetooth Connection

If the issue persists, run a test on the hardware components of the PC

  1. Hold the power button for at least five seconds to turn off the computer.
  2. Turn on the computer and immediately press Esc repeatedly, about once every second. When the menu appears, press the F2 key.
  3. Perform Component Test > Bluetooth Module Test. Share the result on your next post.

Hope this helps! Keep me posted.

Dear Kumar0307,

Thanks for your advise but, I fixed my bluetooth problem myself only. I figured a way out. I had tried every method provided on the community site but didn't work. So I did it my self. Anyways thanks for your assistance.

Hi! there. Sorry for delay. was occupied with something else. The first thing is that you need to find out whether your laptop supports bluetooth or not.(it has to be Inbuilt). Secondly just go to device manager and uninstall everything that is related to bluetooth. Anything with a bluetooh icon you must delete it. After that download bluetooth driver and install it. and lastly just update your system BIOS with the latest update. For BIOS update you need to have patience.
