So I want to add a module in the card for both wifi and Bluetooth but want to make sure I can do it,  haven't selected a part yet but I want to use my wireless ear buds instead of using wired headphones

Hi:

 

You can replace the existing internal WiFi card with either of these models which are both dual band and have Bluetooth...

 

Dual band AC:

 

Broadcom BCM4352 802.11ac 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 combo   HP part # 724935-001

 

Dual band N:

 

Broadcom BCM943228HMB 802.11 a/b/g/n 2x2 Wi-Fi + Bluetooth 4.0 combo   HP part # 730668-001

 

You should be able to find either card on eBay.

 

Search by the HP part number, not the model of the wifi card.

 

Below is the link to the service manual, where you can find the wifi card removal and replacement procedure.

Or you can purchase an external dual band USB WiFi/Bluetooth adapter...
