Product: HP ENVY x360 15.6 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 15m-es1000 (446V8AV)

I would like to play more games on my HP 15.6-inch laptop, but I ran out of storage. I got a 1 TB M.2 SSD card and installed it to my motherboard. However, now when I try to turn on my computer, I’m getting a message that says “Boot Device Not Found.” I know I need to initialize and partition my new drive, then migrate Windows in order for my data to be saved. I’m wondering if I possibly didn’t install the card correctly. Any ideas on what to do?
