I installed a Verbatin Vi550 S3 SSD and new Transcend DDR4 8 Gig. After switching on I get a message that says "Boot Device Not Found. I did a System Diagnostics with F2. It did not pick issues up with the hardware?

Hey Kesia_Live,

That message is expected after installing a new SSD. The Verbatim Vi550 is blank out of the box, so even though F2 diagnostics show no hardware faults, there’s no operating system to boot from.

Go into BIOS (F10) and confirm the SSD is detected. If it is, you’ll need to install Windows using HP Recovery media or a Windows installation USB. Also check that the boot mode (UEFI or Legacy) matches how Windows is being installed. This is a boot/OS issue, not a problem with the SSD or RAM.

Did you even install Windows on it and set the Windows drive as first in the BIOS boot priority list? If not, do it now. First, create a bootable USB from another Windows system using the Microsoft ISO and Rufus software. Then, install Windows on one of your SSDs and set it as first in the boot priority.
