I have an older HP Split x2 laptop that I just got back from my arents since they no longer use it. When plugged in, it works fine. It won't charge at all, however. I ran the diagnostic and got this code for both batteries (MBTXKX-6T09JT-MFPV7G-C0AT03) sayin Battry Status: Replace (40). Given the age of the machine and the fact my parents hadn't used it at all in a long time, I am not surprised both batteries need to be replaced. What I need to know is what batteries do I need to order, and are there any instructions for how to replace the batteries? It's a perfectly good laptop minus the battery issue, and I'd like to keep it around if possible.
Thanks in advance,
Dustin

Entering the Product number of your X2 at HP Parts shows the batteries, but no longer available to order. You can use the part number to do a google search and probably find several sources like Amazon:

Maintenance and Service Guide also shows part numbers for batteries plus how to replace:
For example>
725606-001 3-cell, 33-WHr, 3.05-AH battery (Tablet):
