Hey all, apologies if this isn't the right board. The bottom panel of my Spectre (actual model number is W2K31UA) has started coming loose in one corner. It looks as if was secured with clips from the inside but that are no longer "latching". The laptop has seen pretty light use and for the most part just sits in my office. Everything works fine but I find it a bit concerning that it is coming apart. Any help you all could give on how to get this repaired would be appreciated. Many thanks!

Is the device in warranty? if yes, the device can be repaired without any charges, however, if it isn't, you may order the replacement parts on the HP Parts Store, use the HP Parts Surfer to find the part number and If you've already looked for it and couldn't find it on the HP Parts Store, you may want to get it locally at the online store such as Amazon or eBay, etc...as the part numbers are universal.
Refer to the service guide for details of the part number of the bottom cover in case you don't find it on the hp parts store/surfer: click here and check out page. 26 > Chapter 5 > Removal and replacement procedures for Authorized Service Provider parts (to help you, it's 855626-001)
Keep me posted, as I (Or a trusted colleague) shall follow-up on this case to ensure the concern has been addressed,
And your device is up and running again, only in case you don't get back to us, first!
That said, If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the solution and kudos buttons,

Good Luck.
