I've recently ordered a set of 2 x 8GB RAM memory modules for my HP Notebook 15s-fq1xxx series. However, while attempting to unscrew the screws on the underside of my laptop, some sort of plastic or glass covering is preventing me from even touching the screw. This plastic/glass covering is underneath the bottom rubber strip. I am unsure if breaking that cover will damage my laptop. I have attached a few photos which should explain what I mean better. Haven't been able to find anything about this issue online, it seems as most models do not have any similar covering. close upclose upclose up 2close up 2bottom screws are coveredbottom screws are coveredclose up 3 (cover is preventing screw from being removed)close up 3 (cover is preventing screw from being removed)
