HP Pavilion - 15-cs3087tx

HI Everyone,

I hope this message finds you all well.  I just purchased a HP Pavillion laptop yesterday.   This is the one I purchased:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c06469267?jumpid=reg_r1002_auen_c-001_title_r0002

It replaces this one:

https://support.hp.com/au-en/document/c05865329

I've tried to copy all my documents, videos etc to the new laptop but it says I don't have enough disk space.  The old laptop has a D drive where all my documents are saved to but there is no D drive on the new one.  The person at the store who sold me the new laptop said the new one is bigger and better than the old one with plenty of storage.

Any ideas of suggestions for what I can do or why it's saying I don't have enough disk space?

Thanks,

Geoffrey

From their specs, the old machine has 1TB + 256GB (or 1.25TB) and your new machine only has 512GB (or 0.5TB). You know 1.25 is greater than 0.5 don't you.

New machine does not have dual storage option therefore all you can do now is to copy all 😧 to an external USB HDD, they are very cheap now, and only keep data/files which you use daily on C: of new machine.

One example
