I've had this laptop approx. 2 months now and ever since I've had it the fan has been very loud and makes a sort of clicking sound, and the laptop heats up very quickly. I ran an extensive system test on the PC hardware diagnostics thing and it passed all of them. Not sure if this is how this laptop normally runs or if mine is faulty

I have had this problem before after I dropped my laptop. I had to open my laptop by unscrewing the screws on the back and under the laptop feet and pulling the fan tabs up to prevent a grinding noise . Did you happen to drop the laptop or slam the lid?
