I just got my brand new hp envy x360 laptop delivered today. Turned it on and was downloading something, I had to go out for something so I just left it like that while it was downloading. Came back and it was off. Now it won’t turn back on. The power button lights up, caps lock button lights up twice, the charging port lights up but nothing happens. Nothing on the screen, also the keyboard lit up when u was using it earlier but now nothing. What is the problem?

Hi @fillion,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Disconnect the power adapter from the laptop.
- Remove the battery if it's removable (some models have a fixed battery).
- Press and hold the power button for about 15 seconds.
- Reconnect the battery and the power adapter, and try turning the laptop on.
Check the Battery and Charger:
- Ensure that the charger is properly connected and working by testing it on another device if possible.
- If the battery is removable, ensure it is seated correctly.
Verify LED Indicators:
- The blinking caps lock light pattern can indicate a specific error. Usually, continuous blinks can be associated with hardware issues. Consulting the HP support documentation about LED blink codes may provide specific error information based on the pattern.
Connect to an External Monitor:
- Try connecting your laptop to an external monitor to see if the display issue is isolated to the screen.
Perform a BIOS Recovery:
- Turn off the computer.
- Press and hold the Windows + B keys together, then press and hold the power button for 2-3 seconds and release.
- If the BIOS recovery screen appears, follow the on-screen instructions.
I hope this helps.
