Broken Envy 360 HInge

The left hinge of my laptop has broken out of the display. I can see that the plastic it was screwed into broke and then the screws/hinge popped out of the screen. The wires connected to the hinge that light the display have been frayed, so my laptop isn't usable without an external display.

Because the faulty hinges are a known problem, I refuse to pay for the repair regardless of the warranty. I've seen others have also gotten them repaired for free as well. The laptop is less than 2 years old and wasn't the result of a drop. I would love to hear back on my options. Thanks.
