The hinges broke off from the top cover. I have never dropped this laptop. It works fine but the screen is now connected only by the cables. I've been through the repair and contact us mess and because it's out of warranty I keep being sent to either dead ends or pay to get it fixed.
My understanding is this is a common occurence and that there is a class action lawsuit related to it. Purchased January 2024. I want it fixed but do not feel there should be any cost to me as it's a product defect.
Advise how I go about actually speaking to a human about this.
