Hi HP Support,
I'm having an issue with my HP Victus 16-e0xxx where the hinges are damaging the case. The plastic around the hinge mounts has started to crack, and it’s getting worse each time I open or close the lid. It seems like the tension from the hinge is too much for the internal housing, causing it to break apart.
From what I’ve seen, this appears to be a common issue with several HP models. I’d like to know if this is something you’re aware of and what the next steps are.
Thanks in advance

@Max3Aj
I’ve already seen multiple users reporting similar hinge issues on this and other HP models, and this seems to be more of a design issue rather than a wear and tear problem.
I would really appreciate it if HP could escalate this internally or provide a more specific response regarding the hinge construction on the Victus 16-e0xxx series. I believe this deserves further attention, especially since normal use is leading to physical damage of the chassis.
Is there someone I can speak to directly about this, or a department that handles product issues like this?
Thanks again
