To Whom It May Concern:
I bought an HP Notebook 17-by0053cl new at COSCO on April of 2018, had it for almost two years now, one of the hinges snapped about 3 months ago, I was being careful trying not to damage it more then what it was, but now the other side just broke as well, the back of the casing in the corners pops every time I open or close the laptop, I have to press the corners to close it back in place, it creates a big gap on the laptop everytime I close it, because of this issue the laptop now has cracks near the hinges, the warranty only covered the device for one year, I dont have the money to fix it nor to replace it, I am afraid that it will be a matter of time before I wont be able to use it anymore.
Before I bought this laptop, I was given an HP laptop which lasted me for a few years, then I bought an HP Envy that I enjoyed, unfortunately I had the same problem with the hinges within 2 years, I had to send it to HP which they fixed with no problems at all, I was pleased with their service, that is why I did not hesitate to buy another HP laptop when it was time to upgrade, well here I am again with the same problem. Now my laptop is falling apart, I'm afraid that It will be a matter of time before I wont be able to use it anymore.
I am disappointed at how fragile this last 2 laptops have been, I don't mean that they should last forever but at least no less then 2 years.
Is there anything that I can do so I can get my laptop fixed?
Thank you in advance.
