HP ENVY x360 Convertible Laptop PC 15-ed1000 IDS Base Model

Earlier today I went to close and move my hp envy x360 from my desk to set up my new triple screens. When I went to reopen it there was a crack sound on the left side.  There was no resistance when I opened it.  Now the left hing will no hardly keep the  screen up and it has a small gap at the bottom of the screen panel.  I purchased the laptop three years and two weeks ago. 95% of the time this laptop is on my desk, plugged into my additional screens. Not a lot of opeining & closing to wear out the device. Other than the hinge the laptop is in top shape condition.  I have a second envy x360 laptop that is open and closed all the time with no issue.  After looking at purchasing a new computer and researching known issues with these hinges. It looks like this is a major issue. I use this computer for my business and having to be without a laptop is not an option. The right hinge can't hardly keep the screen up.

It looks like HP could have solved this issue a long time ago.
