HP ENVY x360 Laptop - 15m-ed0023dx

A fatal flaw! Leads to a huge lawsuit for HP. As such, my laptop, which I only had for a year, has broken! Upon opening the laptop, bits of plastic fell out and the screen popped open along with the leftmost hinge and broke. How can I get this fixed or replaced? For a thousand-dollar laptop, I expect it to 1. get it fixed by HP at no cost or 2. have it fully refunded. The poor construction of this machine is similar to a cheap plastic toy. Although my warranty has expired, I should still receive some compensation as per the settlement of the design lawsuit! I expected better from HP.   IMG_4133.jpg
