Hi. My HP 17-y0002ds is just 3 years old--less than 1 yr out of warranty. Shut down as normally done. Tried to close laptop screen, but hinges would not. Bezel popped in LEFT SIDE corner by hiinge. Upon inspection, little screws came out and a 12" loom connector ( each end has gang plugs to push into pin connector) from base threaded through into display screen had small cuts/broken wires. NO display possible. Local repair company said this was a usual HP problem & I was lucky that it lasted this long.
Using HDMI cable from base to big screen TV brings total function up. Need replacement part location. Was told Amazon had it for just under $20. Can't locate it there--no part number on loom.
Can a part just be ordered and do a plug and play ?
Thanks!

It could be 64-bit, I cannot find it by model # only on the web to know and away from any materials. Sorry--I didn't realize this is a big issue to be aware of and saw it was preselected for 32-bit--Newby posting mistake!

Hi
I would suggest that you put your SKU: into 2 places.... (or post it here).
