Hey I found a similar post and it seems I have lost a part of my power input. I thought the issue was the charger but I got a new charger and still no charging.

Anyone know how I can get the parts I need to fix or replace the power input?

Thanks!

With the help of a very helpful eBay seller (dealmax18) I got the right part. It was actually part number 799736-Y57 and when I finally received it and opened up my laptop that was the same part number written on the broken charging port. New one fit like a glove. Thanks!

Hi,

The part number for the power port is 813945-001

You can perform an online search with part number

Ex

https://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_from=R40&_trksid=p2380057.m570.l1313&_nkw=813945-001&_sacat=0

On page 73 of service manual you can see the steps to replace the port

Hope it helps,

The instructions make it look super easy for this model.  I've ordered the part. Never opened up a laptop before so we'll see how it goes. I'm thankful there doesn't seem to be any soldering needed. Thanks for the link for the part. I'll let you know how it goes.
