Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Had the left hinge replaced when it failed withing warranty period.  Warranty ended late September this year (2020)  and now the right hinge has failed .  THis is a disgrace on the part of HP who know full well the failures relating to the hinges on  their Notebooks.  The hinge that has now failed should have been rerplaced at the same time as the first broken one. I do like this Notebook but at the moment I wouldn`t even think of having another HP  product.   Is there any redress against HP regarding these issues

Welcome to the HP Support Community.  

 

As this is a hardware issue, I'd suggest you Contact HP in your region regarding the service options for your computer. 

 

If you are having trouble navigating through the above options, it's most likely because the device is out of warranty. If yes? please send me a private message with the region you are contacting us from. Check next to your profile Name, you should see a little blue envelope, please click on it.
